Stroll over the bridge across the Yarra to Henley’s northern half and discover a hidden treasure. A traditional links style course designed by Tony Cashmore, in consultation with Nicklaus Design the Henley contrasts beautifully with the stadium style St John. Weaving through oxbow meanders carved by the River, the Henley rises alongside the Warrandyte State Forest to the knoll from which the Homestead surveys The Heritage’s spectacular landscape.
A truly beautiful course, The Henley is tranquil, rich in wildlife and bordered by a tapestry of roughs as picturesque as its flawless fairways. Seemingly in defiance of the acres of wetlands that comprise The Henley’s lower section, green keepers grow carpet like couch fairways with ease; thanks to an excellent sand base and a meticulous maintenance regime.
