Since then, the challenge has been to renovate the space, keeping golf as its main sport activity and inserting other attractive areas that allow greater family involvement.
Quinta do Peru was the first golf course built in the Azeitão region between the magnificent castles of Sesimbra and São Filipe, in Setúbal. Located about 30 minutes from Lisbon, Quinta do Peru Golf & Country Club has been very well integrated into the landscape with the Serra da Arrábida, providing an incredible experience with landscapes to lose sight of. The golf course, designed by american architect Rocky Roquemore, provides an experience very enjoyable for golf lovers, presenting itself, at the same time, challenging for professional players. Quinta do Peru Golf & Country is the ideal venue for several international golf events and was considered the 57th best course in Europe. Designed by the famous golf architect, Rocky Roquemore, the course has been open since 1994. This “Parkland” par 72 course has been marvellously integrated into the landscape with the Arrábida Mountains providing a unique and outstanding scenery.
