The course possesses some prominent riveted bunkers, that players should pay particular attention to, as they prove a tough challenge when playing out of. There are some water features, with the 15th hole being the signature hole visible from the drive way when entering the club. There is a fantastic mix of long and short holes ensuring that no two holes are the same. The two loops of nine return neatly to the clubhouse.
The front nine holes plays slightly shorter than the back nine and if you are to make a good score, this is the side to do it. The harder holes on the front 9 are the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th holes, so concentration is imperative. The 5th hole offers our very own postage stamp style green, playing at 148 yards and proves to be a tough target to hit your ball onto. The 8th hole is one of our feature holes and has one water hazard at the front of the green to negotiate. The 9th hole is a tough par 3 all up hill at 172 yards and finishes neatly beside the clubhouse.
The back nine holes are 320 yards longer and play slightly more difficult than the front nine. The toughest holes are the 11th, 12th, 14th and 17th holes. The 15th hole is one of our feature holes with a water hazard in front of the green – you will see it on your arrival at the club. The 18th hole sweeps past a water hazard on the right and two cross bunkers on the left, leaving a grandstand finish in front of the clubhouse. The green is a small target guarded by four bunkers, the toughest of which is the front left side one, that is very deep riveted…one for players to avoid!
