The fairways are generous and inviting and the Crenshaw bent grass greens are immaculate all year round. Although the course is flat, there are high mounds, carefully crafted water features and strategically placed bunkers that have been set amid the scenic mountain surrounds and vast expanses of water to create a challenging and interesting golf experience. The signature hole is the beautiful par 3, 13th hole that plays alongside the dam to a green flanked on both sides by bunkers.
Pecanwood Golf and Country Club is a five star experience and has all the golf facilities offered by world class resorts including a driving range, pro shop and 3 practice greens.

It would of been a ten if the irrigation on most of the holes had not been running constantly,

The course is maticulously maintained. The greens rolled true despite being recently holotined. The signature hole offers fantastic views of the hartebeesport dam and is definitely something everyone should take a moment to enjoy. The staff in the pro shop were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Overall, a really fantastic, memorable golfing experience. That k you Pecanwood. I can't wait to come back for more! It's also very important to note that the discounted rates offered for early the times during the week is fantastic. Please keep this up!

Even though the greens were under construction I felt the staff was professional. The golf course is immaculate only criticism would be the signage to holes but overall fabulous course great staff and wonderful experience.
