It’s a course that rewards good course management and accuracy, as well as a light touch and steady nerve on the greens. It has helped breed players of the highest standard in English amateur golf – as well as individual success, over the years Ealing has been English Champion Club four times and European Champions twice. Members find that their handicap travels well, while visitors need to bring their ‘A’ game.
The Course was originally laid out by James Braid and later re-designed by Harry S. Colt, one of the greatest of all golf course architects responsible for such courses as Sunningdale, the East and West courses at Wentworth, and Moor Park.
Today we are renowned for the condition and presentation of our course, and in particular our greens, which have some of the best surfaces in England. Our class-leading green and fairway irrigation systems and continuous improvement programme ensures new golfing delights, year after year.
