Note: the course has re-opened for visitors, with social distancing and Covid-19 safety guidelines Pinnacle Point golf course is designed by the award-winning architect Peter Matkovich. It was constructed during 2005 and 2006 on one of the most dramatic coastal sights in the world. We have seven holes that hug the cliff sides and boast magnificent views of the ocean, cliffs, and white waters - not to mention the spectacular golf holes themselves.
Pinnacle Point Golf Club has an exceptionally well-balanced golf course, that will challenge the most talented golfer. However, as a result of a minimum of five tee boxes per hole, it allows the average golfer to enjoy their round of golf and perhaps post a personal best score on “The best golf course on the planet” (Darren Clarke).

Not the club's fault but course was shrouded in fog. They still said we could play but it was too dangerous. Amazed they were still allowing golfers to play! They have kindly given a voucher to play 18 holes another time but not sure we'll ever go back to SA.

At the first glance we were a bit frightened of the course. But it turned out to be more playable than thought. Accuracy and a certain length are required to master it. With the exception of the last three holes (I was eventually a bit tired) we were satisfied with our game. For us it was probably the most beautiful course ever played. Wonderful fairways, first class greens and over overwhelming, breathtaking views. Staff is very friendly and outstanding helpful. We can recommend it without any restrictions.

Perfect service prior to arrival, at arrival, Halfway House and when finished. The course is spotlessly kept and groomed, the greens are in mint condition. The challenges are countless and versatile a true pleasure from 1 to 18! The clubhouse is exquisitely placed. The service is attentive and very friendly. Small meals are delicious. I wouldn‘t recommend the Restaurant which is not the focus here and therefore not relevant.
