The breath taking, award-winning 18-hole golf course, designed by David Dale and Ronald Fream of GolfPlan USA, offers visitors who wish to play the ultimate golf course in Knysna, an unsurpassed golf experience, and rates amongst the best and the most scenic golf courses in the world. In 2001, just a few months after it opened, the course was awarded Best New Golf Course in South Africa. Compleat Golfer has rated Pezula Championship Course a Five Star Golf Experience every year since February 2005.

The Pezula Golf Club offers Clubhouse facilities that are in keeping with the overall five-star experience which includes a lounge, restaurant and bar leading onto a terrace with spectacular views, a proshop, short game practice area and putting green. A smaller private dining room and a separate function room with a bar & lounge are also available. Golf lessons are available from the Club's PGA Professionals.

Greens in very poor shape, affected apparently by a disease or fungus. No info was given on this when we checked in. After the round we complained, they said all of the courses in the area including Simola had the same problem. Not true! We played Simola the next day and the greens were the best I’ve seen them. No apology or offer of even a token rebate on the green fees. A great course, but they should treat their customers better.

The course was in a good shape. The Marshall was not aware of a slow flight ahead of us. He didn’t managed it.

Paid R1450 + hire of clubs despite being sent emails offering deals at R800 which also included bed and breakfast. Greens had been worked on, sandy and very slow. Simola at R1150 including club hire and halfway meal a far better value on a top quality course in tip top condition.

If you book online you pay in advance. If you then turn up and the course is unplayable ( in my case due to fog) it is very hard to get your money back. The staff here at n the pro shop seem to be under instructions to make it as difficult as possible which is disappointing for such a fine club.

Great course. Greens are recovering from a fungus which meant they had been sanded and not to the usual high standard.

No soap for hand washing in men restrooms, If the halfway stop is mandatory the halfwayhouse should be more comfortable and tidy, especially the tables on the porch, The gps on the cart was not working so we have to return and change the cart, later the cart drove any more so that I had to go for assistance, The conditions of the greens and some fringes were just ok . The course for itself is very nice and beautiful and we surely will come back but in the moment it is like it is

Great course. Beautiful digs. Flawless staff. Greens suffering from a fungus and although they looked dodgy.. they actually putted smoothly.. just a bit slow. Thanks guys.. checking in again 29th !
