The course is very good although the pro shop had no stock whatsoever, not sure what is going on, its our second visit ..

The pro shop looked like they are going out of business, not a great look when first arriving at the course. No golf apparel available for sale, I wasn't able to purchase a cap to commemorate my visit to the estate. Also the golf course itself is not in great condition - patchy tee boxes and around the greens - great layout though and very player friendly.

Overall still a nice Golfcourse, but the fairways were very dry and hard and not in the best shape. The Proshop looked deserted, it felt like they are closing down the place.

We had a few Overseas Clients from the UK, Denmark and Switzerland recently play and stay at Oubaai. All of them complained about the lack of any stock in the Pro-Shop, and the service levels at the course and in the club lounge were below par. They were also not impressed with the maintenance of the golf course and expected more. The food menu's in the club lounge and the hotel were very much the same with limited choices and the quality of the food, especially at the hotel, was below par and actually returned some meals as it was not eatable. These Clients all requested not to play and stay at Oubaai again. It is indeed very sad, as we promote Oubaai a lot as it is linked to Ernie Els as well. There has been serious brand damage and we sincerely hope that management turns this wonderful property and golf course around. Kind Regards Adriaan Tromp COO: ADORE Africa Mobile: 082 82 000 40

We enjoy this course. Not too difficult but some holes demand to be serious from tee to green. The line we see is not really the line to play. Very good shape and staff very friendly

Good golf course and an enjoyable play, just lacking some of the finer touches, bunkers need some attention as do a few tees. Pro shop was empty.

Green are fine, but the fairways are dry and with little grass. Very surprising as it has been a lot of good rain.

Outstanding location and some very challenging holes. Condition of fairways ok but could be improved. Only real criticism is the bunkers which had little or no sand.
