Overall the course was in good shape. We had to put with maintenance workers that were top dressing the tee boxes and seemed to be with us for severe all holes. They also tried selling us golf balls once.
We paid a fair amount of money to play at Oubaai.
We hired carts , clubs & bought balls and tees.
We tees off at 4pm and at 6.45 all of the sprinklers came on , spitting out stinky 2nd hand water making play impossible.
We had only got through 10 holes , before playing they said it would take about 4 and a half hours to complete which would mean roughly a 8.30 finish - no mention was made of the sprinklers coming on otherwise we would have played in the morning.
Very disappointing as the sole reason for staying at Oubaai was to play on your wonderful course ( and we loved playing the 1st 10 holes ).
Would love to hear back from you

Tee placements difficult for a high handicap player especially with the thick grass in front of the tee extending to the fairway. Being in the rough is penalty enough not finding a ball just wastes time -see no point to it. Greens not well manicured.
