Pro shop staff was very welcoming and informative. The day I played there was a frost delay for about 30-40 minutes. When I was able to go out I had the grounds crew working on the traps and green infant of me. They saw me waiting on holes one and two for my approach shot to the green, but the just stood there and shot the shit while one female was using a blower on the green. they could have stepped to the side and allowed me to play through. Since they wouldn't let me play through, I waited on hole three tee to try and let them get a whole hole in front of me. That's when I was approached by another maintenance worker who told me I needed to tee off and get going because they were going to turn the sprinkler on, on the tee box. So basically I was stuck between two sets of maintenance groups, not a very enjoyable two holes. If I was local and played these courses all the time, I would have just moved around the workers on the green and gone to the next hole. But since I came from California to play golf on Hilton Head Island I wanted to enjoy every hole. In the end, I turned around and went back two Hole #2 and played behind the second group of workers working on the water lines. After moving back a couple wholes the round went smoothly, until the 18th hole when I exited the green. Just as I got off the green and headed to my cart, they turned the water on around the 18th Green and hit me, my clubs and the cart. Over it was a nice course and I would love to come back and play during a different part of the year, but I do believe your grounds crew could do better.
