Since opening in 1994, the Prince’s Grant golf course has earned a reputation for excellence. Prince’s Grant is a regular recipient of the Compleat Golfer 5-Star Golf Experience Award and has been named the Best Golf Development In South Africa by the World Property Awards.

The golf course has a links/parkland layout, designed and constructed by Peter Matkovich, and is laid out over four ridge lines overlooking the Indian Ocean. Sweeping, majestic views over the ocean, with spectacular coastal forest makes this one of the most scenic and visually stunning golf courses in South Africa. But it is the quality of the golf course design and the lovingly groomed condition of greens and fairways that make Prince’s Grant a bucket list golf course for golfers of all ability levels.

When all of this is paired with the mild KwaZulu-Natal climate that allows for year round golfing, you understand why Prince’s Grant is one of those golf courses where you sit with a cold beverage after the 18th, and you are already starting to plan how you will play the next round on this magnificent golf course.

Was not informed beforehand that the front 9 was closed. We did however play the back 9 twice which was interesting as the club had created temporary tee boxes to make it challenging.

very friendly staff; charming and well-maintained club house; spectacular 15th hole; at the moment, only the second 9 holes are open due to surfacing of the greens on the first 9 holes

We were well informed ahead of time about the fact that 1-9 were closed. 10-18 are certainly not disappointing holes to play, caddie was good and we just enjoyed the day!

We have not been told that the front nine was closed. We had to play twice the back nine. We came from France to play this legendary golf course and we have been very, very, very upset.

The course is awesome and the views spectacular but the wind in the afternoon can be brutal if you are not used to it.
