The 9 Hole par 35 Resort Course is situated in the idyllic grounds of the JA The Resort Golf Course and is both scenically stunning and a fair and exciting challenge to all levels of player. Each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs, wooden gazeebos and a large salt-water lake that comes into play on 5 holes. The availability of multiple tees creates a different aspect and playability of each hole and the opportunity to play an 18 hole round of golf.

Pure Dynasty Paspalum greens and Bermuda fairways are well manicured and provide championship standard surfaces. The presence of peacocks, guinea fowl, partridges and the occasional gazelle roaming the fairways completes the wonderful Resort Course experience.

The course is very nice but the play was very slow ahead of us and there was no attempt to speed the slow players up. Secondly we asked to play a second nine holes and the staff were not the most accommodating. I understand that there was a tournament to be played but they could have squeezed us in. Instead we went and played 18 holes at the Emirates.

Overall, value for money wise, this is the best course in the UAE. Condition of the course is great with fantastic greens. Nice mix of length holes, with nice mix of bunkers, water hazards and waste land. Only downside is the changing facilities are limited compared to other courses.

The tee off times are little close, we had a group of four in front of us and group of two behind so we were always feeling pressured by the group behind as the group in front took longer to finish a hole
