The links is an 18 hole, par 72 signature course designed by Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design. Built as a true desert-style grass course, players love the natural flow of the holes through the sand dunes and wonderful desert landscape, many of which incorporate some truly great design concepts. In 2014, a 2 year enhancement program was completed, adding spectacular vistas whilst maintaining the integrity of the original design.

Playing up to 7,658 yards, it is a true test of championship golf. The provision of tee complexes of varying distance also ensures enjoyment and reward for golfers of all abilities. A challenge for golfers of all abilities, miss the immaculate grass of the fairways and greens and you enter the 'sandy waste', which makes the most of the natural terrain with its indigenous shrubs and bushes. All standards of golfers will appreciate the GPS yardage service available on every golf cart.

Our long term goal has always been to be able to evolve with the golf course as it changes. We are always looking for new ways to make your golfing experience with us an enjoyable one

The luxurious Spanish Colonial Clubhouse was the first in the region to open guest rooms within the Clubhouse, 11 in total. The Ranches Restaurant and Terrace boasts scenic views over the 9th and 18th greens. The perfect setting, any time of day, to enjoy the company of friends and family over exquisite international cuisine.

1. The service level in the reception is extremely poor. Just like it has been since the start of this golf club. 2. Some of the marshals on the course have no sense for service and how to apply course rules smoothly. 3. The club is not welcoming to non-members and families. The general service level and flexibility is extremely poor and the ignorance from some staff is mind bogging. 4. Our view of Arabian Ranches as a social place, remains poor. There seem to be no intention to improve customer satisfaction.

We couldn't tee off at booked time. We were asked to wait and were then told that we would probably be starting from 10th. We weren't, and 20 minutes later were taken to the 17th to Tee off, and told to take our time because there was no-one behind us. However that was incorrect. Before we finished our first hole (the 18th), we saw a group behind us, and a group behind them.

We were not informed that we would be playing quasi as part of a tournament, although not in it. we had to start at hole 11! As we started on hole 11 we had to play the last 6 holes all against the low sun, what was difficult to follow the balls and spot them!

Extremely well kept course throughout Summer and afterwards. A solid track over the years that has managed to fine tune and been maintained very well.
