Puakea is a fun course to play. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The greens are very nice and well maintained. The golf course does need some tender loving care with respect to the bunkers on the golf course. Some are overgrown with weeds and the area around the bunkers need some attention as well. A staff member told me that the bunkers will be getting some needed attention soon.
Despite the bunkers, the golf course is one of my favorites in the islands. Great scenery and a fun layout.
