The development of the Boschenmeer Estate, which incorporated the grounds of the Paarl Golf Club, took place in 1997 and changed the face of the Paarl Golf Club radically. The redevelopment created a further nine holes which became the Boschenmeer Nine, which resulted in the Western Cape's first 27 hole golf club.

There was a 2-ball who had the same tee off time as us for the sundowner par 3 course. But otherwise it was all good.

excellent course, well maintained, friendly professional staff. The only missing thing are 2-3 dog legs, where you have to decide: would it be better to tee off with an iron or a wood instead of the driver. This is essential to me for a 10-rating.

Beautiful and here and there challenging. The only disadvantage are the extremely confusing names of the 18 holes loops and 9 hole courses. These do nog match with most watches
