One of the reasons people enjoy playing Boavista is that it's always in first-rate condition. Designed by Howard Swan, the Boavista Golf Course is a challenging play, particularly holes 6 and 8 where golfers have to drive the ball over a ravine. Open in 2002, the design of the course took into account the natural contours of the terrain and made sublime use of the surrounding landscape, providing views of rare beauty over the Bay of Lagos (east) and Serra de Monchique (north). The excellent conditions for maintaining the course, the variety of its holes and all its surroundings make Boavista Golf & Spa a unique experience for all its visitors.

With two distinct sections, the course begins with a winding slope in hole 1, par-4, surrounded by sub-tropical vegetation and beautiful and harmonious properties. The first 9 holes take players to the highest point of the resort, where the 9th Tee is a mandatory stop for those who want to enjoy the stunning panoramic views. The next holes go down to an area surrounded by water courses, lakes and picturesque bridges where the garden areas abound. If you want to improve your golf know that we have the presence of a golf professional, available to give you a lesson and useful advice. Boavista Golf & Spa has an exclusive area for short game practice with three greens: one for putting, another for chipping and another one surrounded by bunkers. The facilities also include a Driving range. Showers with shower cabins are also available for use by members and guests.
